Crack Screen Issues with Apple New PowerBook 17"
Read a bunch of reports on the net about screen problems with
Apple new 17" PowerBook.

Here are tips to avoid problems:

a) Try not to purchase a first generation Apple Product (If you can...)
b) If you Must, than Don't buy it On Line
c) Go see your trusted Apple Reseller and BEFORE Paying TRY the Powerbook
d) The Crack Screen Issue seems to have to do with Latch Sticking, and Applying Pressure
at the wrong place.
d) Treat the 17" Laptop Like A Baby DO NOT ASSUME since it's a portable, that it is build like a Tank
e) Be aware that if you DAMMAGE the SCREEN APPLE WILL NOT REPLACE IT FREE of charge.
f) It seems that for APPLE to Consider REPLACING a SCREEN with DEATH PIXELS the MINIMUM COUNT is at least 7 (death Pixels)
g) If a product is shipped to you (by let's say Fed-ex or any other carrier) and arrive dammage it will be extremely dificult to PROUVE that the DAMMAGE has been done by THEM, and APPLE will Claim that the PACKAGING that comes with the PowerBook is suffiscient.
h) Get With it! Buy the APPLE CARE EXTENDED PROTECTION PLAN it is worth in my opinion EVERY DIME.
