What's A Blog Worth? Try $564.54 Per Incoming Link

Mark Evans of RealTechNews writes: So what’s a blog worth? After AOL recently acquired Weblogs.com for $25 million, Tristan Louis looked at the Weblogs portfolio and figured it was worth $564.54 per incoming link (he used Technorati as the tool to determine the number links). This has spawned a flurry of chatter within the blogosphere as people debate Louis’ valuation approach while quietly calculating how much their blogs are theoretically worth.

Apple reports $430 million profit

Apple Computer on Tuesday reported a profit of $430 million or $.50 per diluted share for its 2005 fiscal fourth quarter. The company posted revenue of $3.68 billion, the highest revenue and earnings in the company’s history. These results compare to revenue of $2.35 billion and a net profit of $106 million, or $.13 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter.

Apple computers top reliability poll

Apple is the computer brand which buyers find most reliable, according to a survey by consumer magazine Which? It found that consumers were more likely to recommend Apple computers to their friends than any other brand, closely followed by Dell and Sony.
