Macworld SF will offer 'Live on Stage' training

IDG World Expo, producer of Macworld Conference & Expo, announced on Wednesday that it has added "Live on Stage" to the events happening at next month's trade show in San Francisco. Comprised of more than 20 hours of free training classes, Live on Stage will take place from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM during each day of Macworld SF, which runs Jan. 10 to 14. The sessions will take place on the exhibit hall's main stage and the first day will include the tutorials "The iPod Supersession," hosted by Macworld magazine's Chris Breen; "iPod: Beyond the Usual," presented by author Scott Knaster; "Converting Old Tapes and Records for Use on an iPod," hosted by Roxio's Adam Fingerman; and "iPod in Education," presented by Mike Lawrence of Computer Using Educators.

Help SendStation help Tsunami victims

Sendstation Systems, creators of the PocketDock line of iPod adaptors, announced that it will donate USD 5 of every PocketDock sold through the SendStation online store before January 31, 2005 to help victims of the Tsunami in South Asia. To support iPod users who may be eager to help contribute to the relief efforts, SendStation will also be offering free shipping on all orders through the end of January.

At the end of the fundraising effort, half the funds will be donated to the United Nations Children’s Fund (www.unicef.org) and the other half to Aktion Deutschland Hilft ("Mission Germany Helps", www.aktion-deutschland-hilft.de), which unites the efforts of the ten largest German relief organizations.

With this new year comes a bunch of changes.
The DD will remain a monthly publication, that goes without saying
but what will be added on top of the up dates to our daily news site
will be the publication of the DD W.

What is the DD W stand for?
Simply The Digital Dispatch Weekly.
Since we have gained popularity and are happy to report
that our subscription base readers are now over 3,000 strong
we feel that we have to answer the call and make a short publication
to suit the needs of this "Mac News Hungry Enthousiast".

We are happy also to report that many new projects will see the light of day
in 2005. We are almost ready to premiere the "Live Digital Dispatch Internet Radio"

We are also setting up The Digital Dispatch On Demand All you Can Learn Server.
