Stone Design Ships New Stone Studio

"Free upgrades for current customers!"

Stone Design, the original Mac OS X software house, shipped brand new versions of Create(R), PhotoToWeb(R), PStill(tm) - the three core applications of the Stone Studio, a suite of 7 Cocoa native apps for Mac OS X. Current users can simply download the new versions and be up and running without purchasing any upgrade licenses. Create(R) is a full desktop publishing solution that lets you create books, flyers, logos and make websites in one click, PStill is a server-based and inexpensive PDF distillery for the rest of us, and PhotoToWeb(tm) allows you to quickly create websites of photos and images.

New features are discussed in full at http://www.stone.com/NewSincePB1.html and include use of CSS styles instead of Font tags in the HTML output of PhotoToWeb and Create, powerful new PDF distillation engine in PStill and full support for maintaining transparency from input PDF.

Stone Studio is your low cost, never-pay-for-an-upgrade-again, publishing solution for Mac OS X with over 14 years of development. It includes the ability to bill clients with TimeEqualsMoney, archive platform independent files with PackUpAndGo, make animations in GIFfun, and create Javascript rollovers with SliceAndDice.

Founder and CEO Andrew Stone remarked, "Forget fancy ads and expensive trade shows - we're 100% about quality software. Other companies spend their resources on intensive and frankly quite obnoxious marketing, while we spend all of our resources on creating and enhancing our software. Test drive our apps free for 30 days - and you'll see the difference! Then, every year, when others are busy paying for upgrades, you'll be reaping the benefit of our open development model."
