ALADDIN SYSTEMS HOLDINGS, INC. ENTERED INTO A DEFINITIVE AGREEMENT TO SELL ITS SUBSIDIARY, ALADDIN SYSTEMS, INC., TO IMSI

Aladdin Systems Holdings, Inc. "the Company" (OTC BB: ALHI ) entered in to a definitive agreement with IMSI(r) (OTC BB: IMSI), a leading developer and publisher of precision design, graphics and productivity software, to acquire Aladdin Systems Holdings' subsidiary, Aladdin Systems, Inc. "Aladdin." The Company will continue business as usual with its subsidiary Aladdin Enterprise Solutions, Inc. Aladdin will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of IMSI. The transaction is expected to close in March 2004 and is subject to customary closing conditions.

The acquisition by IMSI is for cash, stock and a convertible note with a combined value of approximately $8 million dollars and an earn-out that could result in an additional $2 million in payments during the next three years. IMSI develops and publishes professional and home user, high-quality software products at affordable prices. IMSI has two divisions: The Precision Design division, anchored by IMSI's flagship product, TurboCAD(r) and The Business Applications division, which provides businesses and end users with software solutions through its popular products like TurboProject(r), HiJaak(r) and TurboTyping.

The Adobe 2004 Design Achievement Awards

Adobe today issued a call for entries for the 2004 Adobe Design Achievement Awards. The awards program recognizes and honors the most talented student designers, illustrators, digital filmmakers and computer artists from leading U.S., Canadian and British design schools. Using software provided by Adobe, students submit projects in seven categories such as print, photography and digital collaboration. Five independent design professionals will serve as judges and select winners based on overall impact, design execution and technical capabilities. Winners will receive a trip to San Francisco to attend the awards ceremony, the opportunity to showcase their work and meet with design industry professionals attending the awards event. Additionally, first place entries will receive US$5,000 and their choice of 10 Adobe products. Students will be able to submit entries from April 1 to May 17, 2004.

Apple to attend NAB 2004

Apple will be an exhibitor at the 2004 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) event, which takes place April 17-22 in Las Vegas, Nevada. BKMS offers new iMovie plug-ins

BKMS has announced the expansion of its iMovie plug-in line with four new plug-ins that range from "tastefully elegant to seriously pixilated." The new plug-ins—"Fancy Wipes," "Melt In," "Pixel Fade" and "Pixel Wash"—as well as the company's existing line, all work with iMovie 2.1.1 though 4.0. FBI Conducts Raids Over Half-Life 2 Source Theft

According to a recent weblog post, a San Francisco native had his house raided by the FBI last week, and 'lost upwards of 9 machines, and lots of misc equipment besides' in a seizure related to thetheft of the Half-Life 2 source code from Valve Software." The scanned-in search warrant posted on the site indicates the FBI were looking for "...any IP addresses related to any of the Valve internal or external networks... Valve passwords and/or usernames... any and all items... related to Valve Software, Half-Life, Half-Life 2", and theHungry Programmers page mentions that "...several Hungries were raided on January 14th by the FBI and Secret Service, and their computers seized."
